Keyon keys Magic win

Keyon Dooling scored five straight fourth quarter points and helped the Orlando Magic beat the Detroit Pistons in game three of their Eastern Conference semi-final series last night. Captain Marvel is playing on a bruised knee, but he still contained Richard Hamilton defensively and steadied the ship after Detroit made a run. Game four is tomorrow in Orlando.

Keyon's blog has not been updated in a while. We have little to no room to talk.

Keyon, LK square off in Denver

Former Mizzou stars Linas Kleiza and Keyon Dooling faced off last night in Colorado as the Denver Nuggets hosted the Orlando Magic. Dooling scored 10 points; Kleiza scored 18 in Denver's 113-103 win. Box Score.

An interesting sequence of events took place just before halftime, as Kleiza made a three pointer with just seconds on the clock. The ball was inbounded to Dooling who threw up a prayer from just inside mid-court that was good for three points just as the buzzer sounded.

Mizzou's other NBA representative, Kareem Rush of the Pacers, plays tonight at Sacramento.

Gardner turns heads on Bulls summer league team

Former Tiger Thomas Gardner is making a case to be the 15th and final player added to the Bulls' roster:

The team’s ongoing summer-league schedule could help determine which players get a crack at making the club in October. Former Missouri guard Thomas Gardner, who spent last season playing in Belgium, has turned a few heads.

TG consistently scored in double figures for the Bulls this summer and has done all he can do help himself earn a spot.

Gardner and Indiana Pacer summer-leaguer Kareem Rush are hoping to join Linus Kleiza and Keyon Dooling as former Tigers in the NBA in 2007-08.
