Royals beat Devil-less Rays
So shaving Buck's head gets Meche ready to pitch? It be nice if they didn't need gimicks to play well but whatever. Keep it up I guess. Link.

Joey Renard Gathright aka The Gator was put down today (for at least 15 days, if not permanently) with a bum shoulder. Called up was (hopefully) Mike Aviles Part Deux, Mitch Maier. Link.

Man, do these guys suck or what? After the finale of a 33-6 three-day beat down by the Tigers one pines for the !Nostromos Cremos! days. What a disaster. Tampa is in town for four starting tonight. They still suck, right?
Gobble gave up 10 runs himself. Ouch. And yes TPJ did pitch the ninth inning. Gotta forget that one quick. Game two tonight.

The South Suckers couldn't contain Esteban German (above), Mike Aviles and the rest as KC takes the final two games of the series in Chi-Town. German's double in the top of the eighth scored two and proved to be the game winner. The Royals are now 3-6 against the Pale Hose in 2008. Recap.
Back home now to face the Tigers and the Devil Rays.

In an RTC exclusive, below is a video of the consult Royals' doctors used for repairing John Bale's punching pitching hand. Bigger, stronger, faster.
The strategy appears to be working, as Bale pitched a scoreless inning Tuesday night in his first rehab start for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, KC's AA affiliate. Link.
If you're trying to get back into the pennant race no better way to do it than to go head to head with the best team. KC gets its first chance tomorrow against those classy, and clearly heterosexual, White Sox in Chicago. Link.
Mike makes two bad plays in the field, doesn't produce with men on base. Royals lose game two to the completely pathetic (except for about 2-3 players) Orioles. Link.

Hochevar pitches eight strong. Gload explodes for three hits. Link.
Day off today. The St. Louis Pitt Turd Birds come to the K Friday.
Well, what else is new? Royals beat an NL team. Link.
Tonight, Lawnmower Man against the anything but dead De La Soul of the Rockies and one of my favorite players last year: Georgie De La Rosa. Preview.
That was a very satisfying three days of baseball. Royals 4, Cardinals 1.
Royals have now won five in a row if you're scoring at home.
Game MVP awards to Lawnmower Man and Teahen. Link.

Royals beat St. Louis 3-2. DeJesus and Gordon hit eighth inning homers as KC rallies from 2-1 down. Mexican Tough gets the save. Six games in a row with at least seven innings from a starting pitcher. Box.
Aviles and Hiram Kyle Davies keep performing since being called up from Omaha. Link.
