W. Volleyball. Lindsey Hunter Named Athlete of the Decade

After being honored as Mizzou volleyball’s All-Decade honoree two weeks ago, former Tiger setter Lindsey Hunter was named Mizzou Women’s Athlete of the Decade for her contributions to the program and the university from 2002 through the record-setting 2005 season. Hunter earned 42.7-percent of the total fan vote as she topped some of the most recognizable names in Mizzou women’s athletics history. Football standout Brad Smith claimed the men’s Athlete of the Decade award with 27.5-percent of the votes.
